The Alaska Legislature website says meetings can be streamed from both chambers. It links to a Roster of Members. This page does not copy that roster. A direct roster address we tried did not open, so use the link on the Legislature home page.

Important voting dates

From the Alaska Division of Elections calendar. Wording below follows that calendar.

  • October 4, 2026: Deadline for voters to register to vote or update their registration (30th day before the election). The calendar says offices are open 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. that day for registration.
  • October 6, 2026: REAA Election Day. Polls open 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
  • October 19, 2026: Absentee in-person, early voting, electronic transmission, and special needs voting begins.
  • October 24, 2026: Deadline to receive absentee by-mail applications.
  • November 3, 2026: General Election Day. Polls open 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. Absentee ballots returned by mail must be postmarked on or before this day.
  • November 25, 2026: Target date to certify the General Election.
